MacDonald House Port Joli

MacDonald House Port Joli The MacDonald House was built by John MacDonald in 1908 of Queens County, Nova Scotia. The MacDonald house needs some repairs to have it open to the public.

This would show the early life of 1930 & 1940. There would be information on the clam middens,clam canning and the lobster fishing industry. As many as 175 sheep roamed the fields. The wool was sold to Stanfields in Truro and the meat to White Point Beach Lodge.
