Dive into reading with the Summer Reading Club at Port Moody Public Library!

Starting today, kids can pick up a Summer Reading Club package, track 15 minutes of reading a day, collect stickers, discover amazing books, and earn a shiny medal at our big ceremony in August.

Teens & adults can join the fun too with their own reading challenges and prize draw.

The Library will be closed on Monday, May 18, 2026 for Victoria Day.

The book drop will remain open for returns. All of our online resources for eBooks, digital magazines, and other digital collections are always available 24 hours a day even when the library is closed.

The traffic circle in front of the Library will be closed at 4pm today for the Search For The Perfect Pint event. The outside bookdrop and the front entrance to the Library will remain open to the public.

Please note that there will be extra noise in the building during this event, and the parking lot will be busy.

This Saturday, May 2, 2026 will be a busy one in and around the library!

Free Comic Book Day is on, Drop in!

Celebrate Free Comic Book Day by picking up free comics to take home and keep. Discover new artists, writers, and series with options for all ages.

Limit per person. First come, first served.

In partnership with Hourglass Comics & Games.

9:30AM-4:30PM in the library.

Fingerling Festival will also be taking place at the Noons Creek Hatchery & Port Moody Rec Centre Ice Rink

Help release thousands of young chum salmon into Noons Creek and explore the hatchery, restored wetlands, and dozens of ecological and stewardship groups. One of the largest environmental festivals in the Lower Mainland, and completely free.
