Yes, this graphic was created during a torrential downpour. Yes, we're still at Stage 2 Water Conservation! At least your lawn isn't missing out on being watered, right?

Water conservation is of utmost importance as we head towards wildfire season, even if the local weather has been a little damp as of late! So this is your reminder that we are indeed still at Stage 2 Water Conservation. Details about these restrictions (e.g. when you can water your lawn, if you feel you need to after all the rain!) can be found at our website.

🚦✨ Big Changes at the Granville Street Intersection! ✨🚦

Have you noticed the new STOP sign where there used to be a yield? 👀

We know change can take a little getting used to, but this update is all about making our roads safer for everyone. After a traffic assessment, we found that the businesses along Granville Street generate significantly more traffic, and changing the downhill yield to a stop helps slow vehicle speeds and reduce the risk of collisions.

🛑 Slow down.
👀 Look around.
🤝 Share the road.

And we’re not stopping there! This is just the first step in a series of safety improvements planned for the intersection, including:

🚶 A new crosswalk
🎨 Fresh lane markings to better define traffic flow
✅ More visibility and safer travel for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians

Thank you for your patience as everyone adjusts to the new traffic pattern. Together, we’re building a safer community—one intersection at a time! 💙
