May is Invasive Species Awareness Month! Here at MacGregor Point staff are always on the hunt for invasive plants, keeping these species out of our wetlands is an ongoing task that requires a lot of monitoring!

We regularly monitor apps like iNaturalist to investigate new populations of invasive species found within the park. Visitor reports provide staff with valuable information on areas in which invasives may be growing unnoticed.

Maddie is the Park program Educator and spends most of her time at the Visitor Centre! ✨

This is Maddie’s fifth year working for Ontario Parks!

Welcome back to another camping season at MacGregor Point!
Our spring operating hours for park services are as follows:

Visitor Centre: Weekends 10am - 4pm

Park Store: Friday 9am - 6pm
Saturday 9am - 7pm
Sunday - Thursday 9am - 6pm

Park Gate: 9am - 8pm Friday - Sunday
Monday - Thursday 9am - 7pm

All park services will be open on Victoria Day!

It's opening weekend at the Visitor Centre!
Join us to celebrate the Mothers Day and the start of a new season here at MacGregor Point.

The Visitor Centre will be open weekends from 10am - 4pm until the end of June when we will be open daily. Stay tuned for special events and summer programs!
