We're excited to see this investment in MacGregor Point Provincial Park! The addition of 17 new campsites will help meet growing demand for outdoor recreation and allow more visitors to experience Saugeen Shores’ natural spaces.

MacGregor Park plays a key role not only in environmental protection and education, but also in supporting our local economy. Expanded camping options mean more opportunities for visitors to stay longer, explore our community, and support local businesses.

Thank you to the Province for this continued investment in Ontario’s parks system. We look forward to welcoming visitors this season and beyond!

Did you know: Your used household batteries can be dropped off for recycling at the landfill in Southampton at no cost🔋

The Town has partnered with Call2Recycle, a not-for-profit stewardship organization, to ensure batteries are safely collected, transported, and recycled through certified facilities.

This improved program supports safe handling and responsible recycling, helping protect both people and the environment.

♻️ Please keep batteries out of household garbage.

While this phase is nearing completion, a few important elements still need to be finalized before the area can safely re-open:
🌳 Landscaping
🧱 Interlocking brick
🪑 Street furniture installation
🛣️ Final asphalt and line painting

Don't forget, the Friday Sunset Piper is temporarily at Pioneer Park during construction. For more information visit: https://ow.ly/8J5v50ZaGCR
