Congratulations to Scott Good and Randy Schnarr, recipients of the 2026 Saugeen Shores Annual Heritage Conservation Award.

Randy Schnarr has enriched the cultural heritage of Saugeen Shores and Bruce County through decades of volunteer service and by leading the creation of heritage exhibits that preserve and share our local history.

Scott Good has shown outstanding commitment to heritage conservation through the restoration, maintenance, and promotion of important maritime heritage assets, including the Saugeen River Range Lights and Chantry Island structures.

A presentation honouring both recipients was held at the Monday, September 14 Council Meeting.

Back to school, back to camp!

Full day, school-year camps with Kamps for Kids are now open for registration with camps from October through June. Camp programs offer interactive days full of fun and play to keep children ages 4-12 years active, creative and engaged. Days are filled with plenty of outdoor time, learning experiences and making new friends!
