The 2026 tax deadline is fast approaching.

Residents have until June 30, 2026 to receive the 10% discount on 2026 property taxes.

Please note: taxes not paid by this date will be subject to a 2% interest charge per month thereafter.

The Town of Point May can avail of this as well on May 9, 2026 in Fortune as the town is in the zone with Fortune!

ADVISORY

On Saturday, May 09th, 2026 the Burin Peninsula Regional Service Board will have dumpsters in the Town of Fortune located on the Arena Parking Lot for residents in the region to drop off Bulk garbage. Please note there will also be electronic recycling bags at this location for residents to drop off any electronics.

Time: 10am - 2pm
