Shoutout moments !! this week starting Friday past we have 3 members attending regional fire school training. Ranging from firefighter 1, traffic management, to operating a fire department . Thank you for volunteering your time in order to better protect your community.

RECYCLING DRIVE - MAY 30TH 10AM-12PM

Have an excessive amount of recyclables kicking around after the long winter? The Point Leamington Fire Dept will be open to accept recyclables on Saturday, May 30th from 10am - 12pm.

If you or someone you know would like to donate, but can't get to the fire hall, please reach out and we can arrange pick up.

Shoutout moment ! To conclude volunteer week we want to recognize fire fighter Troy Manuel on completing Hazmat in Clarenville over the past week . This makes him one step closer to his firefighter 1 certification. Thank you Troy !!

Firefighters make many sacrifices for our communities. Income shouldn't be one of those sacrifices. Ahead of the 2026 Provincial Budget, MNL requests that the Provincial Government:
• Establish a provincial remuneration program for all active volunteer firefighters.
• Develop a standardized compensation framework to support recruitment and retention.
• Provide sustainable funding to municipalities to administer this program without increasing local tax burdens.
