The RM of Beaver River office will be closed Friday, April 24 due to a water outage in the Village of Pierceland.

The RM of Beaver River is advising caution when travelling on all roads in the municipality. The following roads are either closed or may be impassable:
Beacon Hill road north
Road from Hwy 55 north to Big Island Lake Cree Nation
RR 3220 north of Hwy 55 to Hinterland Road - Closed
RR 3215 north of Hinterland to Waterhen – Closed
RR 3221 from Hwy 55 to Hinterland – Closed
All seasonal roads may be impassable as they have not been plowed yet.
This information could change hourly, as different roads are affected.
Crews and council members are on the ground placing signage, thawing culverts and monitoring conditions. Pylons are being placed where there is water going across the roads as well.
When weather permits, the RM employees will commence with road repairs.
The Water Security Agency is advising residents experiencing yard flooding or concerns about drinking water to call 1-866-727-5420 for assistance.
