Pictou County Hike Club

10/15/2026

Pictou County Hike Club's hike scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, at 6:00 PM at Green Hill Provincial Park has been postponed until the spring.

Unfortunately, the seasonal gates at the park have closed for the season, there is not enough available parking to accommodate our group size, and the lack of daylight at that time of year would make the hike less enjoyable. This was an oversight during the planning process, and we sincerely apologize for the change and any inconvenience this may cause.

New Hike Details
Date: Wednesday, October 21
Time: 6:00PM
Location: Caribou-Munroe's Island Provincial Park (Meet at the park entrance off the Simpson Road)
Distance: Approximately 3KM

If you would like to join us at the Caribou hike on the 21st, please email Melanie to register at [email protected] or call 902-396-1059.

Thank you for your understanding, and we apologize again for the change. We look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming hikes!

We couldn't have asked for a better (almost) fall day for a hike up Fitzpatrick's Mountain this past Sunday with Pictou County Hike Club. Our group of 46 travelled up the mountain to check out the beautiful views at Smith Rock Chalets before heading back down along some of the mountain bike trails. 🍂🥾

Thanks you to everyone who joined us for some morning movement. We'll see you for our Fall Guided Hike Series starting October 7! 😉🌲
