Please be VERY careful in getting into contracts for new furnaces/hot water tanks/air conditioners/water softeners. People are being suckered into long-term lease contracts with compounded interest that can cost even 4 to 5 times what the equipment is worth. If you go to sell your home, you can end up having to pay off a lien of multiple THOUSANDS of dollars to clear title. Know what the TOTAL cost is BEFORE you sign on the dotted line. It's too late later! I have seen payouts in excess of $20,000. I mean, how much service can a hot water tank possibly need? If you have questions, feel free to comment below. ONCE PICKERING WATERFRONT IS GONE, IT IS GONE FOREVER!

This development would create traffic havoc on Liverpool Road from the 401 to the Lake, would remove a significant amount of public parking and would favour a select few over the rest of the residents and guests of Pickering.

Help us stop the development of two 23-storey condo towers on Pickering waterfront. We need to fill City Hall council chambers for the public meeting to oppose this proposal on Monday, February 3rd at 7.00pm. Please attend if you can, you will not be required to speak, all you have to do is show up.

Please share this video far and wide so that we can continue to get the word out:
