Make sure you’re ready to vote in this October’s Municipal Election. 🗳️

Voting is one of the easiest ways to have a say in decisions that affect your daily life like transit, housing, parks and local services.

Before you vote, make sure you’re registered. You can quickly confirm, update or add your information for municipal, provincial and school board elections in one place at https://www.registertovoteon.ca/

We’re also sharing updates for voters and candidates as they become available at peterborough.ca/vote

You can check, update or add yourself to the voters list with our online tool until August 12, or directly with your municipality after this date.

It's splash pad season! 🌊 City splash pads are now open daily for kids to cool off and play.

Our splash pads have interactive elements like water jellies, spray tunnels, tipping pots and water willows to keep kids active and having fun.

There is so much to enjoy in Peterborough this weekend!

Join the Peterborough DBIA for the Second Saturday Sidewalk Sale on June 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in downtown Peterborough. The sale features shopping, entertainment, patios and community activities!

Plus, the annual Peterborough's Dragon Boat Festival as it returns to Del Crary Park in support of the PRHC Foundation! Enjoy Dragon Boat races, artisan and food vendors, a Family Fun Zone, a beer garden and more. 🚣‍♀️

To support these events and create a safe, pedestrian-friendly atmosphere George St (Hunter to Simcoe) and immediate streets around Del Crary Park and Little Lake will be closed to motorists, except local traffic.

Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and allow for a little extra travel time. We can’t wait to see you out!
