Community Home Support Lanark County invites you to kick up your boots and join us for Round Up for a Reason, a lively barn dance fundraiser taking place on Friday, July 17, 2026 at Ecotay in Perth.

Enjoy an unforgettable evening of live country music by Dirt Road Anthem featuring The McCullough Brothers, Zach Teal, Jimmy Jones, and Jamie Young. Guests can also take part in a silent auction while supporting valuable community programs and services for seniors and adults with physical disabilities throughout Lanark County.

📍 Ecotay – 133 Menzies Munroe Sideroad, Perth
🕖 Doors open at 7:00 PM
🎟 Tickets: $40 each
🤝 Friends of the Event tickets available for $25 for those wishing to support the fundraiser but unable to attend.

This relaxed, informal gathering offers men a space to connect with others who understand. Created specifically for men grieving the loss of a loved one, this group honors the fact that everyone grieves differently.

Whether you want to share your experience, listen quietly, or simply sit among others who “get it,” you’ll find a welcoming space with no pressure and no expectations.

Together, we will explore what anticipatory grief is, how it can show up in everyday life, why mixed emotions are a normal part of the experience, and practical ways to cope and stay grounded during the “long goodbye” — whenever that may come.

This year’s theme, Palliative Care Everywhere, highlights the importance of meeting people where they’re at: at home, in long-term care, in hospitals, and in hospices. Quality palliative care prioritizes comfort, dignity, and choice at every stage of illness.

By raising awareness and having open conversations about care preferences, we can help ensure individuals and families receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
