We honour the strength, resilience, cultures, languages, and traditions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Turtle Island. We recognize the wisdom of our Elders, the leadership of our communities, and the hope carried by our children and youth.

This day is an opportunity to celebrate who we are, where we come from, and the vibrant cultures that continue to thrive across our Nations.

May we all take time today to learn, reflect, celebrate, and uplift Indigenous voices. 💕

🎓 Yesterday was our Headstart graduation!! 🎓

We are so proud of each child and the growth, learning, and friendships they have experienced throughout the year. This special milestone reflects the strong connections built between our children, families, and dedicated educators, who have supported and encouraged our graduates every step of the way. 💕

In celebration of an amazing year, each child was given a yearbook to look back on in the years to come, filled with memories and language resources, which was created by our amazing Wolastoqey Language Coordinator here at NCFSA. We hope that each child can look at this yearbook and remember this incredible milestone as they grow.

Woliwon to everyone who made this day so special for our graduates - we know that they will do amazing things!
