โ€œWhy do I need a radio when I have a phone?โ€ ๐Ÿ“ป

Your phone is an important emergency tool, but it relies on having access to cell networks or the Internet โ€“ services that may be disrupted in some emergencies.

A battery-powered or hand-crank radio can help you receive emergency information and updates when Internet, TV and cell services arenโ€™t available.

That's why a radio belongs in both your emergency kit and grab-and-go bag.

Following your local water restrictions and cleaning responsibly are just two easy ways you can save water โ€” and money ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ’ง.

โœ… Check your local watering restrictions weekly and adjust your cleaning plans accordingly.
๐Ÿงน Sweep instead of hosing: Use a broom or rake to clean leaves and dirt off driveways, paths, and sidewalks instead of spraying them with a running hose.
๐Ÿ”ซ Trigger nozzles: Attach a shut-off or trigger nozzle to your hoses so water only flows when you press it.
๐Ÿชฃ Bucket washing: Wash cars or outdoor furniture using a bucket of soapy water, using the hose only for a quick final rinse.
๐Ÿšซ No power washing when in drought.

Small changes = big impact.
