Youth Academy Day 4. Today, the students challenged themselves to CLIMB waaaaaaay out of their comfort zone and reach the top of Ladder 202. L202 is our arial apparatus which was setup 70 feet above Penticton at a 60 degree climbing angle. Some of the kids were not sure they could do it, but all of them said it was the best part of the day! Tomorrow they will be operating in a real live fire environment. Anigbo is also facing other charges. On Wednesday, Anigbo was scheduled to appear in Penticton court related to his charge of assaulting a peace officer and causing bodily harm on Sept. 12, 2025.

We are so proud at L1399 to sponsor the U5 Fire hockey team! Led by head coach and L1399 firefighter Colton Gillies, the players have developed so much this season and there are a lot of smiles on the ice. This year saw a record 34 players sign up for the U5 program!
