Update* The grass turf will be delivered on Thursday next week

We will be extending the closure for the Playground on Speetlim Pl until June 8th.

Once the turf is put down, it will need 2 weeks to take root and settle.

If any community members would like to lend a hand laying the sod, feel free to stop by the playground between 8am & 2pm Thurs/Fri next week 😁

Quick update from the great & amazing folks at Public Works 😁

Today was a busy & a bit chilly one and not many photos were taken.

Some highlights of our day:

We got to try out the new grapple forks while assisting NR/FireSmart remove debris from a property. We’re all obviously over the moon with this attachment.

The team picked rocks out of the North bank at the playground on Speetlim Place to clean it up a bit.

And we will be able to complete phase one of the back filling in the playground tomorrow, next week will be top soil.

Friendly reminder that the playground on Speetlim Place is currently closed for renovations.
