103 years ago today Canadians stood shoulder to shoulder in one of Canada’s bloodiest military battles. 0ver 10,600 Canadians were killed or injured.
Today we’re fighting a very different battle but still many lives are at risk.
Our ancestors had to go to war overseas, our way to battle is to social and physical distance and stay around the home as much as possible to minimize fatalities.
Let’s do our part to honor these veterans who fought proud and bravely by sacrificing our social/physical needs for the time being.
This will also show support for all the people who are on the front lines of essential service that we care and we stand behind them in support as they goto battle everyday to keep us healthy, safe, fed, housed, warm, dry .
Thank you to those past and present ❤️
