Community open house invitation

We invite you to a community drop-in information session to share a meal and learn more about three proposed transmission line projects:
• Bowmanville to East GTA Power Line
• Durham Kawartha Power Line
• Sudbury Barrie Transmission Line

Representatives will share information, answer questions and hear your feedback. These projects are part of Hydro One’s investments to strengthen reliability and prepare the electricity system for future growth.
Hydro One works with First Nations in a spirit of cooperation and shared responsibility. The proposed transmission lines will be developed in
partnership with First Nations, strengthen reliability and prepare the system for future growth.

The Beausoleil First Nation Social Services Employment Assistance Program has 6 seats the upcoming 5 days of hands-on training for individuals 16 and over starting September 8- September 12. The Course will be held at the Rec Centre. There is no cost, no travel and no experience needed, just your willingness to participate in learning practical skills to improve capacity for workers in Indigenous communities through hands on green construction skills training. Tools, materials and safety equipment provided! Healthy lunches and snacks will be delivered for the duration of the course.
