2677 - 42nd Field Artillery Regiment Army Cadet Corps

2677 - 42nd Field Artillery Regiment Army Cadet Corps A dynamic youth org that promotes citizenship, leadership and an interest in the Canadian Forces The outdoor-oriented will love the challenge!

The Royal Canadian Army Cadets appeal to teenagers craving exciting outdoor activities where their personal limits as individuals and team-members will be tested. Army cadets develop abilities in the use of map and compass, GPS technology, orienteering, first-aid, camping and survival skills, canoeing, abseiling, trekking, mountain biking, etc. As they get more experienced, some will be selected f

or parachuting, white-water rafting and glacier climbing. They will also learn to become outdoor leaders. Army Cadets get involved in ceremonial military events and citizenship activities that allow them to connect to their Canadian heritage. They develop a great sense of pride and discipline through their involvement in a hierarchical system that allows them to hone their leadership skills as they grow older and they learn to care for younger cadets. Members of the Royal Canadian Army Cadets are not members of the Canadian Armed Forces, and can
release from the cadet program at any time. Email us for more information!

On February 24th, 2026, 2677 bade farewell to their Cadet Regimental Sergeant Major, CWO Ainsley O'Hagan, as she retired from the Cadet Program.

An active and determined member of the Corps, CWO O'Hagan dedicated five years to the program, serving with two different cadet corps. She began her journey with 3018 RCACC before joining 2677 in 2023.

Throughout her cadet career, CWO O'Hagan was a valued member of both the Marksmanship and Biathlon teams. She participated in summer training as both a course cadet and a staff cadet, always representing her corps with dedication and pride. Her commitment was equally evident during field training exercises, her volunteer work within the community, and her mentorship of younger cadets.

In recognition of her service, CWO O'Hagan was presented with a challenge coin and her 5-Year Bar.

2677 wishes her the very best in all her future endeavors. You will be missed, Chief!

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻FUDGE IS IN!!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Orders will be available for pick up TUESDAY 03 March at the end of parade night.

Any disrespectful behaviour towards any of the Support Committee members will not be tolerated. Fudge is late. We get that you have impatient customers. Harassing the volunteers to get your fudge order before the end of parade night is unacceptable.

🥇🥇Huge shout out to all the cadets that participated in the fundraiser this year... the winner of the free fudge slab will be announced right before dismissal Tuesday.

Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding with the long shipping delay this year😊
