Beginning September 8, 2026, the County of Renfrew will be undertaking rehabilitation work on County Road 70 (Ruby Road) from O'Connor Road to approximately 150 metres east of Zadow Road in Township of Bonnechere Valley.

๐Ÿšฆ Alternating traffic will be in place to accommodate construction activities, with work expected to continue until mid-October 2026.

Additional updates, including information on any segment closures, will be shared as the project progresses.

Please plan for potential delays and use caution when travelling through the construction zone. We appreciate your patience as these important road improvements are completed.

Itโ€™s back!

The 3rd Annual Emergency & Protective Services United Event returns to the Petawawa Civic Centre on Saturday, September 12, bringing together police, fire and paramedic personnel for a friendly team obstacle course competition.

Active and retired emergency services members from across the region are invited to register and compete, build connections and enjoy a fun day supporting three local organizations:

โ€ข Pembroke and Area Special Olympics
โ€ข Petawawa Pantry Food Bank
โ€ข St. Josephโ€™s Community Food Bank

The competition begins at 10 a.m., but the fun is open to everyone! Members of the public are invited to attend for free, cheer on the teams and enjoy emergency vehicle displays, a kidsโ€™ obstacle course, inflatable fire truck, dunk tank, mini putt, raffles, a silent auction, barbecue lunch and more.

Beginning September 8, 2026, the County of Renfrew will be undertaking rehabilitation work on County Road 9 (Bulger Road) from Agnew Road to McGaghran Road in Township of Admaston/Bromley and North Algona Wilberforce Township.

๐Ÿšฆ Alternating traffic will be in place throughout construction to accommodate operations.
