🚨 Severe Thunderstorm Watch – Renfrew County ⚡

🟡 A Yellow Level Warning issued by Environment Canada is in effect for all areas of Renfrew County, as conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms.

Hail up to toonie-sized

Emergency Management Ontario advises residents to remain alert and prepared. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for storms that may produce damaging wind, hail, or heavy rain.

🚧 County Road Rehabilitation Notice 🚧

The County of Renfrew will be completing road rehabilitation work in the Township of Horton:
📍 County Road 1 (River Road)
From 70 m east of County Road 20 (Castleford Road) to Red Door Lane
📍 County Road 20 (Castleford Road)
From 200 m south of Humphries Road to River Road

🚦 Alternating traffic control measures will be in place throughout construction to accommodate operations. Motorists are encouraged to plan for possible delays and use caution when travelling through the area.

🗓️ Construction is scheduled to begin June 15, 2026, with completion anticipated in late July 2026.
