Being a responsible pet owner helps keep our parks, trails, and public spaces safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Even if your dog is friendly, not every dog is. Some may be nervous, reactive, in training, or simply need space. Please keep your dog leashed in public spaces unless youโ€™re in a designated off-leash area, and always ask permission before allowing your dog to approach people or other pets.

A few simple reminders:
โ€ข Keep dogs leashed unless in designated off-leash areas
โ€ข Pick up and properly dispose of pet waste
โ€ข Respect othersโ€™ space and comfort levels
โ€ข Help protect wildlife by keeping pets under control
โ€ข Ensure your dog responds to basic commands in public spaces

The Village of Pemberton will be conducting scheduled watermain valve maintenance in the Glen area during the first two weeks of June.

This work is necessary to ensure isolation valves remain operational and accessible in the event of an emergency.

During this time, residents may experience temporary reductions in water pressure. There is also a possibility of turbidity or discolouration in the water. If this occurs, please run a cold water tap until the water runs clear.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important maintenance work.

Weโ€™re starting the morning with the Spud Run, followed by a community parade and a lively celebration in the park. Itโ€™s a full day of connection, energy, and fun for all ages.

Beginning May 29, 2026, the Village will begin a six-month pilot project that will close the municipal office front counter to walk-in public service on Fridays.

This change applies to front counter services only. Municipal staff will continue working on Fridays and remain available to assist residents by phone, email, online services, and scheduled appointments.

Residents can continue to access services through:

โ€ข Phone and email support during regular hours
โ€ข The 24-hour drop box at the municipal office entrance
โ€ข Scheduled in-person appointments on Fridays when needed

This pilot project is intended to better align service delivery with community demand while improving operational efficiency and staff safety.
