Now that "Tales be Told" has started, our next registered program on deck this fall is "The Purpose of Play"

Join Nicole weekly while she shares the different types of play, why they are so important to your child's development and how you can incorporate them at home! This program is ideal for children 3-6 but younger siblings are always welcome!

There are TWO fantastic groups getting started this month for caregivers and parents of children, teens and young adults with neurodiversity's!

Peace River's ADHD Parenting Group gets back at it September 17th and will meeting in person at our PRFRN office upstairs in the Baytex Energy Center every THIRD Thursday of the month until May 2027. 7pm start time.

Beyond the Label is our NEW online group for parents and caregivers of children who are neurodivergent. This peer led group is offered monthly, with a 6:30pm start time.

Helllllloooooo September!

Welcome back routine and welcome back programing at the Peace Region Family Resource Network!

We have some new staff (which means new faces and training happening in the next couple months), a new logo and tons of fun for everyone.

We also have our new online registration platform, so you can click the registration QR Codes to see what programs are happening and what you can register for!

We still have fan favorites like "Fast Feet" (starting November 1st) and "Drop in and Discover" will be starting up in October!

THANK YOU to Grimshaw Public School and to Rosary School in Manning for inviting us to be part of their back to school events this week!!

We were in Grimshaw Monday evening to see all the excited faces dropping off their stuff and connecting with the teachers

and we were in Manning bright and early for the first day of school Tuesday at the pancake breakfast for families at Rosery School!! (What an awesome idea!) 🥞❤️

We were able to share upcoming program information and support programming to both school communities!

NORTH OF AVERAGE - DROP-IN GROUP FOR MEN

Life pulls us in a lot of different directions. Whether you're dealing with the sleepless nights of being a new dad, figuring out your next steps as you approach retirement, or just looking to connect with other men in the community, we've got a spot for you. Starting Tuesday, May 5, 2026, we're kicking off North of Average—a brand-new, weekly drop-in space for men. This isn't a lecture or a formal program. It's a laid-back, welcoming, and completely non-judgmental environment built specifically for guys to talk and build real community. The best part? It's 100% free, and there is absolutely no registration required. Just walk in.

THE DETAILS
Location: Main Floor, Mental Health and Addiction Clinic
(10015-98 St. Peace River)
When: Every Tuesday, starting May 5, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

WHAT WE TALK ABOUT
The group steers the conversation. We'll be tackling real-life topics based on what matters to you,
including:
• Handling stress and the daily grind

• Work, money, and everyday life skills
• Fatherhood, getting older, retirement and much more
• Open conversation nights (whatever is on your mind)
