The Town of Parry Sound is advising residents, pedestrians, and visitors that the road and sidewalk closure on William Street between Rosetta Street and Cascade Street has been extended until October 16, 2026.

The closure extension is required due to an expanded project scope. During construction, previously unknown site conditions were identified that require additional water and sewer infrastructure work.

During the closure, access will be maintained for residents, businesses, and emergency vehicles only. Motorists are asked to follow posted detour signage and avoid the area where possible.

The Town thanks the community for its continued patience and cooperation throughout this project.
