There's still space available in next week's Fall Planter Workshop being run by Sue Poff! Join us from 5 to 6 PM on Tuesday September 15th to create a beautiful arrangement for the season. The workshop is $30.00 per person and covers all of the materials needed for the planter.

We are excited to announce the McKellar Healthy Living Fair, coming to the McKellar Community Centre on Saturday, October 3, from 10 AM to 2 PM!

This free community event, sponsored by the MLCA, will bring together organizations, experts, and community members to explore all aspects of healthy living, from personal wellness to community and environmental health.

• 16 exhibitors
• 7 free workshops
• Free refreshments
• A Repair Café hosted by the Georgian Bay Biosphere, where volunteer fixers will help repair and restore household items, keeping usable items out of landfill and extending their life.

Our first 'Teddy Bear Sleepover' to commemorate Winnie-the-Pooh's 100th anniversary was a lot of fun! We had 13 "stuffies" dropped off at the library for a sleepover. They partied, they snacked, listened to a story, but I think playing Pin the Tail on Eeyore was their favourite game. Poor ol' Eeyore...
Thank you to all who participated and were willing to let their precious 'stuffies' sleepover in the library. Winnie-the-Pooh is a very happy and grateful bear!
