Congratulations to Clarington Public Library who won the Angus Mowat Award last night! To everyone involved with Place Settings, especially Krista Foss, and to our supporters, thanks so much. Your amazing hard work and passion made our shortlist honour possible. We’re so proud of Place Settings and our fantastic community that made it happen.

Keep your fingers crossed for us. On Thursday, February 1 we'll find out if Place Settings has won the Angus Mowat Award of Excellence (given by the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Sport) when we attend the Public Awards Gala at the annual Ontario Library Association SuperConference! (Wow, that was a long sentence!)

If you haven't read Place Settings yet, you can borrow a copy from the Library. Better still--purchase one of the very few remaining copies for just $10 (while supplies last).
