"Bear, Sighting Alert,"
There has been a bear sighted beside the creek on Walter Street. It is that time of year, when wildlife becomes more active in and around our community. Please be vigilant and use caution in the area, especially when walking pets and allowing children outdoors.
Residents are reminded to:
- Keep a safe distance from the wildlife
- secure garbage and outdoor food sources.
- avoid approaching or feeding the bear.
We are contacting the appropriate authorities regarding the sighting. Thank you for your cooperation.

Garbage Tag Update
Due to rising costs, we had to adjust prices.
Effective immediately.
- Drop off garbage tags: $2.50 per bag.
- Pick up garbage tags: $3.00 per bag.

Thank you for helping with snow removal. The Village would like to thank everyone who has been helping with snow removal around the community. Your time and effort are very much appreciated. Just a friendly reminder to please be mindful of where snow is piled and ensure that all fire hydrants remain clear and accessible at all times. Thank you for your co-operation and for looking out for one another.

The Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA) staff will be in Paradise Hill on Thursday, December 4th and Friday, December 5th, 2025, conducting property assessments.
You may notice their vehicle driving around the village during this time. This is part of their regular assessment work.

WILDLIFE ALERT - Remain Vigilant
Cougar sounds have recently been reported within the Village. Wildlife may still be present. For your safety, please remain alert when outdoors -- especially while walking on trails or in secluded areas. Keep children and pets close at hand. If you see or hear anything concerning, report it to the proper authorities.
