🚨 Slow down. Stay alert. Lives depend on it. 🚨

Today, one of our firefighters was nearly struck while trying to stop traffic so an ambulance could safely reach an accident scene.

This is a powerful reminder that emergency scenes are unpredictable—and extremely dangerous—for first responders working just feet from moving vehicles.

When you see flashing lights:
👉🏻Slow down
👉🏻Give space
👉🏻Follow directions
👉🏻Stay focused—no distractions

A few extra seconds of patience can prevent a tragedy. Please help keep our firefighters, paramedics, police, and everyone on the road safe.

This week, Paisley Firefighters Association proudly recognize Paramedic Services Week and take the opportunity to say thank you to the incredible team at Bruce County Paramedic Services.

Our paramedic partners deliver more than expert medical care. They bring reassurance, dignity, and compassion during some of life’s most challenging moments. Their ability to work seamlessly with fire services and other emergency responders strengthens our collective response and helps keep our community safe, healthy, and resilient.
