We support families living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, raising awareness, offering access to vital local social recreation programs, education, and support services. The Alzheimer Society Grey-Bruce is committed to providing educational and support services to people with Alzheimer Disease and related disorders, caregivers and the general public.

📢 Thank YOU ALL for supporting this year's IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's. Together, we’ve raised more than $115,000 and logged over 1,000 kilometres in support of people living with dementia and their care partners, and we’re not done yet! To put that distance into perspective, it’s like walking all the way to Québec City. 💙

Championed by the Grey Highlands Seniors’ Advisory Committee, join us at the second annual Age-Friendly Seniors Health Fair, a one-of-a-kind event focused on promoting health, wellness, and active living within our senior community.

This exciting event will feature a diverse range of health and wellness service providers, including respected non-profit organizations, coming together to create a vibrant and informative experience. Whether you’re looking for resources on healthy aging, fitness, mental health, or community services, this fair promises something for everyone.

We’re proud to celebrate the incredible success of Seasons Retirement Communities for your incredible support of this year's IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's! 🎉

Between May 20th and May 30th, the team at Seasons Retirement Communities, including the management team and retirement community members, laced up, tracked their steps, and got moving together. 👟

The result: an amazing 736,236 steps, roughly 560 kms, in just 10 days! 🥳

To mark this incredible achievement, the team came together at the Owen Sound Walk location, crossing the finish line side by side in true community spirit.

A huge congratulations to everyone who participated. Your energy, commitment, and teamwork made this achievement possible. Here’s to many more steps together in support of the families impacted by Alzheimer's and other dementias in our community! 👏💙

Bruce County is developing an Age-Friendly Community Strategy to improve programs, services, and supports for older adults and caregivers. They are hosting small, informal discussion sessions to hear directly from seniors and caregivers about their experiences, including what is working well, what challenges they
face, and what could be improved. Are you a Bruce County resident age 50
years or older, or a caregiver of an older adult?

Sessions will take place in person on June 10th, from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM at Brucelea Haven (41 McGivern St. W, Walkerton).
