Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and exercise caution in and around school zones. Thank you for helping create a safe and successful start to the school year for all.

🧡 Throughout September, Georgian Bluffs is flying Every Child Matters flags at key Township locations to honour National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and to serve as a reminder to reflect, learn, and stand with residential school survivors, their families, and communities.

We encourage residents to learn more about Indigenous histories and participate in local reconciliation initiatives. Visit GeorgianBluffs.ca/News for more information.

This year, we’re bringing together two ways to move, stretch and enjoy the beautiful outdoors at Rotary YMCA Camp Presqu'ile on Georgian Bay!

💪 Boot Camp By The Bay: 9:00–9:45 AM
🧘 Namaste By The Bay: 10:15–11:15 AM
📅 Wednesday, September 9 (rain date September 11)

FREE for YMCA Members! Donations are gratefully accepted. Public: $20 per class.

Starting on September 1, visit georgianbluffs.ca/election or visit the Administration Building to update your voter information. This includes which school board you choose to support. 🏫🚌

If you have not changed or updated your information, your support will default to the English-Language Public School Board.

Check to make sure yours is correct before you vote! ✅

Waste Management was not able to complete the scheduled pickup in parts of the Township on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, due to a medical situation.

The following missed areas have been noted, and will be recollected on Thursday, August 27, 2026, weather permitting:
- Cobble Beach Drive
- Ishwar Drive
- and surrounding areas

Please place your waste at the roadside before 7 a.m. to ensure Waste Management will be successful in recollection. If you live outside the areas noted above and your waste was also not picked up, please contact Waste Management directly at [email protected] or by calling 1-800-561-1655.
