We run exclusively on donations (pet food, funds, volunteer time), and currently have no physical location. Due the limited capacity of our volunteers, we have turned off our instant messaging. If you are looking

for pet food assistance, please email [email protected] to discuss your needs. Please be sure to include all demographic information about your pet(s), and any health conditions that would impact the food that they need. Food Donations
We are currently accepting donations of:
• Dry or wet dog food
• Dry or wet cat food
• Dog and cat treats
We accept both unopened and opened bags of food. However, in order for us to use opened food, it must be in its original packaging and well sealed without major tears or repairs. Monetary Donations
Your financial support helps us keep our doors open and provide more food to pets in need. Donations can be securely processed through CanadaHelps.org. All donations of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt. https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/ottawapawpantry

Empties for Paws
We have two drop-off locations for empties. Please email [email protected] to arrange drop-off at the Barrhaven and Gatineau locations. You can also return your empty cans and bottles directly to the Beer Store and donate your refund by sending an email transfer to [email protected]. If you are donating more than $20, send it through CanadaHelps.org to receive a tax receipt! Barrhaven: 1D Vanessa Terrace
Hunt Club: Global Pet Foods at 228 Hunt Club Rd Unit 2, Ottawa, ON K1V 1C1. No need to email, just drop off during open hours.

Just as a quick reminder, these are our donation guidelines here at the ! 🧡🧡

Every generous donation we receive that meets these guidelines directly supports our community. While we do our best to redistribute the food we can't use, following these guidelines ensures your donation goes towards feeding Ottawa’s pets.

You can drop off donations in person at our community pantry locations, or feel free to reach out to [email protected] to make other arrangements.

Since opening our doors in 2016, it’s been our honour to lend a helping paw to keep our communities' pets fed. Every pet parent deserves the support to keep their pets thriving, even in trying times.

We’re looking for a volunteer driver to support us in the west end with our donation pick-ups and client deliveries! 🚗🐾 Access to a reliable vehicle is a must, and it’s a bonus if you could help out in other areas as needed.

Our volunteer drivers are huge champions of our cause, picking up donations and helping us get pet food in the hands of clients who can’t make it to one of our community pantry locations.

Are you an organizational pro with a passion for supporting pets? Be our next Inventory / Storage Coordinator! ✨🐶

This role will focus on:
💜 Keeping track of inventory.
💜 Monitoring expiry dates.
💜 Coordinating with wildlife or pet rescues to redistribute food that can't be used.
💜 Ensuring our storage unit is well-maintained and organized.

What you bring:
💜 Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
💜 Able to work independently.
💜 Proficiency with Google Docs.
💜 Ideally, experience in a pet food environment, familiarity with logistics management, and access to a reliable vehicle.
