It was a green day yesterday with a walk by the little gardens by the Norman Johnston school off Cléroux and a wee stroll on the Forest Valley trails.

Sorry I was quiet over the last few days - sometimes we all need a break!

TODAY'S THE DAY!

The Blackburn FunFair officially kicks off this evening and we're so excited to welcome everyone back for another amazing weekend of community fun!

Tonight's highlights include:
• Craft Brew Night
• Casino Night
• Softball Tournament
• Live music from Where's Mike
• Free Kids Movie at 6:30pm
• Rides, games & inflatables

Planning ahead for tomorrow?

🥞 Community Pancake Breakfast starts at 8AM
⚽ World Cup Soccer-Themed Parade begins at 10AM

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

The Blackburn FunFair is almost here! Here are a few helpful things to know before the weekend begins:

Friday, June 5 • 5 PM – 11 PM
Saturday, June 6 • 8 AM – 11 PM
Sunday, June 7 • 9:30 AM – 3 PM

📍 Location
200 Glen Park Drive
(Lois Kemp Arena and surrounding grounds)

FREE admission!
[Cash, debit, and credit accepted]

Pre-purchased inflatable ride bracelets can be picked up at the Blackburn Public Library

🏥 Medical services are available inside the arena
🔍 Lost & Found is located at the volunteer booth inside the arena

Parade Reminder:
Bearbrook Road will be closed between Louis Riel High School and the Blackburn Arena from approximately 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM on Saturday during the parade.

Don't forget to bring lawn chairs, sunscreen, hats, and water bottles!

Be sure to grab a copy of the FunFair schedule so you don't miss any of the rides, games, entertainment, live music, fireworks, and family activities happening throughout the weekend!

The Blackburn FunFair returns June 5–7 with a full weekend of community fun for all ages!

• Carnival games, wreck rooms & inflatable rides
