Defence Construction Canada DCC’s resources are divided among five service lines. CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SERVICES
This is DCC’s longest-standing service line.

Defence Construction Canada is a Crown corporation that provides contracting, construction management, infrastructure and environmental services for the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Forces, as required for the defence of Canada. From project needs planning to building decommissioning, our work covers a broad spectrum of activities and includes services for organizations within D

ND such as Communications Security Establishment Canada (CSEC), among others. The Construction Services team supports the creation, renovation and maintenance of facilities for DND’s infrastructure and environmental program. CONTRACT SERVICES
The Contract Services team oversees the procurement of goods and professional, construction and maintenance services to fulfill Canada’s domestic and international defence infrastructure needs. ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
Environmental Services helps DND meet environmental performance targets, comply with regulatory requirements, and manage due diligence and risk. PROJECT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SERVICES
The Project and Program Management Services line advises DND on matters such as building requirements, program planning, and schedule and document control. REAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SERVICES
From needs planning to facility decommissioning, the Real Property Management Services team ensures DND’s real property assets are managed efficiently throughout their lifecycles.

🐴 A mini pony, a minivan, and a whole lot of heart.

As DCC marks 75 years of service, our employees across Canada are giving back to their communities through visible, meaningful action.

Karen Pells-Nairn, Team Leader, Construction Services in Dundurn, loaded her two-year-old mini pony, Scarlet, into the family minivan. With her daughter and a friend along for the ride, she set off for a local hospice care facility.

When patients and staff stepped outside to meet Scarlet, the smiles quickly followed. It was a simple visit that turned an ordinary day into a memorable one.

The visit was such a success that Karen is already planning a return trip—this time with goats and sheep in tow.

This is what the DCC Gives Back experience is all about—employees finding their own meaningful ways to connect with and strengthen their communities.

As part of DCC's 75th anniversary, employees across Canada are taking part in the DCC Gives Back experience—supporting local causes and finding meaningful ways to make a difference close to home.
