เมื่อวันที่ 2 กันยายน 2569 นายดามพ์ บุญธรรม เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงออตตาวา พร้อมด้วยนางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ ได้เข้าพบหารือกับ ดร. Elizabeth Croft รักษาการอธิการบดี และ ดร. A.R. (Elango) Elangovan ผู้ช่วยรองอธิการบดี มหาวิทยาลัยวิกตอเรีย ที่นครวิกตอเรีย รัฐบริติชโคลัมเบีย

ในโอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยวิกตอเรียกับสถาบันอุดมศึกษาของไทยหลายแห่ง ทั้งในรูปแบบการแลกเปลี่ยนบุคลากรและนักศึกษา การจัดทำหลักสูตรคู่ขนาน (dual degree) และความร่วมมือด้านโครงการสหกิจศึกษา (Co-op) หรือการฝึกงาน นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับโอกาสในการขยายความร่วมมือในสาขาใหม่ ๆ อาทิ การบินและอวกาศ สมุทรศาสตร์ การโรงแรมและการบริการ

On 2 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Darm Boontham, Ambassador of Thailand to Canada, together with Ms. Natthanipa Burusaphat, Consul-General of Thailand in Vancouver, held a meeting with Dr. Elizabeth Croft, Acting President, and Dr. A.R. (Elango) Elangovan, Assistant Vice-President, of the University of Victoria in Victoria, British Columbia.

On this occasion, both sides discussed ways to promote cooperation between the University of Victoria and several Thai higher education institutions, including faculty and student exchanges, the development of dual-degree programmes, and cooperation on co-operative education (Co-op) or internship programmes. They also exchanged views on opportunities to expand cooperation into new fields, such as aerospace and aviation, oceanography, and hospitality.

Le 2 septembre 2026, S.E. M. Darm Boontham, Ambassadeur de Thaïlande au Canada, accompagné de Mme Natthanipa Burusaphat, Consule générale de Thaïlande à Vancouver, s’est entretenu avec la Dre Elizabeth Croft, présidente par intérim, et le Dr A.R. (Elango) Elangovan, vice-président adjoint de l’Université de Victoria, à Victoria, en Colombie-Britannique.

À cette occasion, les deux parties ont discuté des moyens de promouvoir la coopération entre l’Université de Victoria et plusieurs établissements d’enseignement supérieur thaïlandais, notamment dans les domaines des échanges de professeurs et d’étudiants, de la mise en place de programmes de double diplôme, ainsi que de la coopération dans le cadre de programmes d’enseignement coopératif (Co-op) ou de stages. เมื่อวันที่ 1 กันยายน 2569 นายดามพ์ บุญธรรม เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงออตตาวา และภริยา พร้อมด้วยนางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำเพื่อต้อนรับและเป็นเกียรติแก่ พลเอก อุกฤษฎ์ บุญตานนท์ ผู้บัญชาการทหารสูงสุด และคณะ ในโอกาสเดินทางมาเข้าร่วมการประชุมผู้บัญชาการทหารสูงสุด ภูมิภาคอินโด-แปซิฟิก ประจำปี ค.ศ. 2026 (Indo-Pacific Chiefs of Defense Conference 2026) ที่นครวิกตอเรีย รัฐบริติชโคลัมเบีย โดยการประชุมดังกล่าวมีผู้บัญชาการทหารสูงสุดและผู้แทนทางทหารระดับสูงจากประเทศในภูมิภาคอินโด-แปซิฟิกเข้าร่วมกว่า 29 ประเทศ ภายใต้หัวข้อการประชุม “Strengthening Collective Security: Navigating Challenges in a Dynamic Indo-Pacific Landscape".

On 1 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Darm Boontham, Ambassador of Thailand to Canada, and his spouse, together with Ms. Natthanipa Burusaphat, Consul-General of Thailand in Vancouver, hosted a welcoming dinner in honour of General Ukris Boontanondha, Chief of Defence Forces of Thailand, and his delegation on the occasion of their participation in the Indo-Pacific Chiefs of Defense Conference 2026, held in Victoria, British Columbia.
The Conference brought together Chiefs of Defence and senior military leaders from 29 countries across the Indo-Pacific region. The theme of this year’s Conference was “Strengthening Collective Security: Navigating Challenges in a Dynamic Indo-Pacific Landscape.”

Le 1er septembre 2026, Son Excellence M. Darm Boontham, ambassadeur de Thaïlande au Canada, et son épouse, accompagnés de Mme Natthanipa Burusaphat, consule générale de Thaïlande à Vancouver, ont organisé un dîner de bienvenue en l’honneur du général Ukris Boontanondha, Chef d’état-major des forces armées royales thaïlandaises, et de sa délégation, à l’occasion de leur participation à la Conférence des chefs de la défense de l’Indo-Pacifique 2026, tenue à Victoria, en Colombie-Britannique.
La Conférence a réuni les chefs de la défense et de hauts responsables militaires de 29 pays de la région indo-pacifique. Le thème de la Conférence de cette année était : “Renforcer la sécurité collective : relever les défis dans un paysage indo-pacifique en constante évolution”.

เมื่อวันที่ 29 สิงหาคม 2569 นายดามพ์ บุญธรรม เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงออตตาวา พร้อมด้วยภริยา เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดงานเทศกาลไทย ณ นครโทรอนโต ประจำปี 2569 (Thai Festival Toronto 2026) ณ Sankofa Square ซึ่งสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ร่วมกับ Thai Festival Foundation จัดขึ้นเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรมเฉลิมฉลองวาระครบรอบ 65 ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างไทยกับแคนาดาในปี 2569

ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้กล่าวเปิดงาน โดยชื่นชมความเข้มแข็งและความร่วมมือของชุมชนไทยในนครโทรอนโตในการร่วมกันเผยแพร่วัฒนธรรมและความเป็นไทยในหลากหลายมิติให้เป็นที่รู้จักในหมู่ชาวแคนาดา นอกจากนี้ นาย Chris Moise สมาชิกสภานครโทรอนโต ได้ร่วมกล่าวแสดงความยินดีในโอกาสการจัดงานดังกล่าวด้วย

งานเทศกาลไทย ณ นครโทรอนโต จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 29–30 สิงหาคม 2569 และได้รับความสนใจอย่างมากจากชาวแคนาดา ชาวต่างชาติ และชุมชนไทยในพื้นที่ ภายในงานมีกิจกรรมหลากหลาย อาทิ การออกร้านจำหน่ายอาหารไทย การสาธิตนวดไทย การแสดงดนตรีและวัฒนธรรมไทย การสาธิตศิลปะมวยไทย การออกร้านจำหน่ายสินค้าและบริการของภาคธุรกิจ ตลอดจนกิจกรรมประชาสัมพันธ์การท่องเที่ยวไทย

On 29 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Darm Boontham, Ambassador of Thailand to Canada, accompanied by his spouse, attended the opening ceremony of Thai Festival Toronto 2026 at Sankofa Square. The event was co-organized by the Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai Festival Foundation as part of the year-long celebrations marking the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Canada.

On this occasion, the Ambassador delivered opening remarks, highlighting the strength and active engagement of the Thai community in Toronto and its important role in promoting Thai culture and heritage among Canadians. Mr. Chris Moise, Toronto City Councillor, also delivered congratulatory remarks on the occasion.

Thai Festival Toronto 2026 took place from 29–30 August 2026 and attracted strong interest from Canadians, international visitors, and members of the local Thai community. The festival featured a wide range of activities, including Thai food, traditional Thai massage demonstrations, Thai music and cultural performances, Muay Thai demonstrations, booths showcasing products and services from the business sector, as well as activities promoting tourism to Thailand.

Le 29 août 2026, Son Excellence Monsieur Darm Boontham, ambassadeur de Thaïlande au Canada, accompagné de son épouse, a assisté à la cérémonie d’ouverture du Festival thaïlandais de Toronto 2026, tenue à Sankofa Square. L’événement était organisé conjointement par l’Ambassade royale de Thaïlande et la Thai Festival Foundation, dans le cadre des célébrations organisées tout au long de l’année pour souligner le 65e anniversaire de l’établissement des relations diplomatiques entre la Thaïlande et le Canada.

À cette occasion, l’ambassadeur a prononcé une allocution d’ouverture dans laquelle il a souligné le dynamisme et l’engagement actif de la communauté thaïlandaise de Toronto, ainsi que le rôle important qu’elle joue dans la promotion de la culture et du patrimoine thaïlandais auprès du public canadien. M. Chris Moise, conseiller municipal de Toronto, a également prononcé une allocution de félicitations à cette occasion.

Le Festival thaïlandais de Toronto 2026 s’est déroulé les 29 et 30 août 2026 et a suscité un vif intérêt auprès du public canadien, des visiteurs internationaux et des membres de la communauté thaïlandaise locale. Le festival proposait un large éventail d’activités, notamment de la cuisine thaïlandaise, des démonstrations de massage traditionnel thaïlandais, des spectacles de musique et de danse traditionnelles thaïlandaises, des démonstrations de muay-thaï, des kiosques présentant des produits et des services du secteur privé, ainsi que des activités faisant la promotion du tourisme en Thaïlande.

เมื่อวันที่ 31 สิงหาคม 2569 นายดามพ์ บุญธรรม เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงออตตาวา พร้อมด้วยนางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะนาย David Eby มุขมนตรีรัฐบริติชโคลัมเบีย ณ นครวิกตอเรีย

ในโอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือเกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์ที่ใกล้ชิดและยาวนานระหว่างไทยกับแคนาดา รวมทั้งไทยกับรัฐบริติชโคลัมเบีย นับตั้งแต่การเสด็จฯ เยือนนครวิกตอเรียของพระบาทสมเด็จพระปกเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว เมื่อปี 2474 และทรงได้ปลูกต้นโอ๊คขาวที่สวนสาธารณะ Beacon Hill Park นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังเห็นพ้องส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทั้งด้านการค้า การลงทุน โดยเฉพาะในสาขาก๊าซธรรมชาติซึ่งรัฐบริติชโคลัมเบียมีทรัพยากรก๊าซธรรมชาติจำนวนมาก รวมถึงการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประชาชนของทั้งสองฝ่าย

On 31 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Darm Boontham, Ambassador of Thailand to Canada, together with Ms. Natthanipa Burusaphat, Consul-General of Thailand in Vancouver, paid a courtesy call on the Honourable David Eby, Premier of British Columbia, in Victoria.

On this occasion, both sides discussed the close and longstanding relations between Thailand and Canada, as well as between Thailand and British Columbia, which date back to the visit of His Majesty King Prajadhipok (Rama VII) to Victoria in 1931, during which His Majesty planted a white oak tree at Beacon Hill Park. The two sides also agreed to promote cooperation in trade and investment, particularly in the natural gas sector, given British Columbia’s abundant natural gas resources, as well as to further strengthen people-to-people ties between Thailand and British Columbia.

Le 31 août 2026, S. E. M. Darm Boontham, ambassadeur du Royaume de Thaïlande au Canada, accompagné de Mme Natthanipa Burusaphat, consule générale du Royaume de Thaïlande à Vancouver, a rendu une visite de courtoisie à l’honorable David Eby, premier ministre de la Colombie-Britannique, à Victoria.

À cette occasion, les deux parties ont discuté des relations étroites et de longue date entre la Thaïlande et le Canada, ainsi qu’entre la Thaïlande et la Colombie-Britannique, qui remontent à la visite de Sa Majesté le roi Prajadhipok (Rama VII) à Victoria en 1931, au cours de laquelle Sa Majesté a planté un chêne blanc au parc Beacon Hill. Les deux parties sont également convenues de promouvoir la coopération dans les domaines du commerce et de l’investissement, notamment dans le secteur du gaz naturel, compte tenu de l’abondance des ressources en gaz naturel de la Colombie-Britannique, ainsi que de renforcer davantage les liens entre les peuples de la Thaïlande et de la Colombie-Britannique.
