Hello all,

For anyone interested, after a slow semester attempting to complete the club registration it has come to our attention that we require additional members to join our executive committee in order to complete our registration to receive funding and access to room bookings. Anyone interested in playing a more active role in our community is encouraged to communicate that interest to us via email or messaging where we can discuss the details of potential participation in more detail. We here at the science and politics society look forward to hearing from any interested parties.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to give out an update. We have been slowly getting through the registration process but are still trying to get over the last hurdle, which is getting access to the room booking software. We apologize for the long delay and hope to be planning our first meeting before the end of the month. Let us know if you have any specific topics you would be interested in discussing as we are starting to get some ideas together and your input is always appreciated!

Le processus d’inscription est en cours mais nous essayons toujours de surmonter le dernier obstacle, qui consiste à avoir accès au logiciel de réservation. Nous nous excusons pour ce long re**rd et espérons pouvoir organiser notre première réunion avant la fin du mois. Faites-nous savoir si vous avez des sujets spécifiques que vous souhaiteriez discuter, car nous commençons à rassembler des idées et votre contribution est toujours appréciée!

The next regular municipal election will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018. Check that your name and information are on the Voters’ List using the Am I on the Voters’ List? tool to avoid delays at the voting place.

La société Sci-Pol de l’Université d’Ottawa, espérons que vous avez passé un bon été et que nous avons hâte de voir de nouveaux membres et certains de nos anciens membres, espérons-le, pour une première réunion avant la fin du mois.(nous attendons la confirmations d'inscription à la FÉUO)

Hello everyone! We in the University of Ottawa Sci-Pol society hope you all had a good summer and we are looking forward to seeing any new members and some of our older members soon, hopefully with a first meeting happening before the end of the month (pending the final registration confirmations with the SFUO)

In the mean time, with the municipal elections coming up soon we wanted to send along an invitation/request that was sent our way from one of the candidates in the Orleans area. Their message is attached below, and anyone whether interested or not in this opportunity should remember to get educated, and get registered so you can make your voice heard on October 22nd.
