World Environmental Day was this week and FactSet employees in Toronto showed up!

Teaming up with Keep the Earth Fresh, they raised environmental awareness, restored green spaces, and contributed to a cleaner, healthier environment for everyone. Thank you to all the volunteers for showing what collective action can do for our planet!

Diversifying revenue streams. Engaging volunteers as strategic partners. Building peer-driven campaigns that actually work.

On June 23 | 1–2 PM EST, join Michelle Del Carmen, CEO of The Centre for Dreams, for a candid look at how one charity is strengthening both its fundraising and volunteer programs, and what that means for the broader sector.

You'll leave with tangible ideas to apply in your own organization.

Volunteer Canada is heading to Benevity Live in Arizona.

Our Director of Partnerships & Engagement, David Vandenberg, will be there representing the national voice of volunteerism in Canada and connecting with the sector leaders, companies, non-profits, and tech partners shaping the future of workplace giving and employee volunteering.

We're going to listen, share what we're learning, and bring perspective from our own work: delivering employer-supported volunteering activations that companies trust, strengthening a national volunteering network, and supporting the National Volunteering Action Strategy alongside volunteer centres and partners across the country.

If you're going to be at Benevity Live, come find David. We'd love to connect with the people and programs doing this work.

Indigenous Peoples have been stewards of the lands and waters in Canada since time immemorial, mapping this continent and building trading networks from coast to coast to coast.

Today, they continue to shape Canada’s future – revitalising languages, promoting cultures and traditions, and building resilient, dynamic economies for all.

As we mark the start of National Indigenous History Month, let us take time to deepen our understanding of the rich and diverse histories, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis, and remain committed to advancing reconciliation.
