EN: The 14th edition of the International Rescue Maneuvers of the Order of Malta and the Fire Brigade has concluded in Szczyrk, Poland. From May 22 to 24, twelve teams from the Order’s relief corps - representing Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine - alongside Polish emergency services and observers from Slovenia and Romania, tested their skills across ten complex emergency scenarios. The drills focused on managing severe trauma, advanced life support, and, notably, the integration of psychological first aid in the field. This initiative confirms the Order of Malta's commitment to strengthening cross-border cooperation, interoperability, and the operational readiness of its global humanitarian mission.

FR: La 14e édition des Manœuvres Internationales de Sauvetage de l'Ordre de Malte et des Sapeurs-Pompiers s'est conclue à Szczyrk, en Pologne. Du 22 au 24 mai, douze équipes du corps de secours de l'Ordre - représentant l'Allemagne, l'Italie, la Lituanie, la Pologne et l'Ukraine - aux côtés des services d'urgence polonais et des observateurs de Slovénie et de Roumanie, ont testé leurs compétences à travers dix scénarios d'urgence complexes. EN: The Order of Malta joins the appeal of Pope Leo XIV, who invited the faithful worldwide to pray the Rosary for Peace today, Saturday, May 30. Among the shrines participating in the initiative is Our Lady of Lourdes, to which the Order of Malta is bound by a deep devotion, recently renewed during the International Pilgrimage. Guided by the Grand Master, Fra’ John T. Dunlap, in a spiritual retreat at the Shrine of Saint Carlo Acutis in Pennsylvania, we entrust our supplications to the Virgin of Massabielle, praying for an end to the conflicts afflicting the world, that all violence may cease, and that civilians and the most vulnerable populations affected by wars may be protected.

FR: L'Ordre de Malte se joint à l'appel du Pape Léo XIV, qui a invité les fidèles du monde entier à prier le Rosaire pour la Paix aujourd'hui, samedi 30 mai. The meeting confirmed the solid diplomatic relations established in 1994 and the effective humanitarian cooperation that has seen the Order of Malta active in Bulgaria since 2005. Key projects include support for Ukrainian refugees and the ongoing study for the opening of a new health and rehabilitation center in Sofia.
