Thanks to all our supporters for making this little project come through.
New school uniforms were purchased for all the children in Lapilang, Nepal by Mr Bimal Thami, headmaster.
He asked me to extend his gratitude to all canadian friends who made this possible.
Looking at the children and the mother’s smiles is the best thank you for me.

Earthquake help in Colombia
A 7.5 earthquake has hit Colombia in Cali and Buenaventura, one of the poorest areas of Colombia. Much is needed. We can’t lend a hand, but we can help purchase basic necessities for those who have lost everything. We have a trustworthy contact in San Juan Bautista school who will distribute.

In Lapilang Nepal, primary school is free, only a school uniform is requested. Cost is $10.50 each which includes pants, a t-shirt and a jacket (like in the second picture) Can you help?

There are 150 children awaiting, some have uniforms bought by Living Kindness in 2020 and passed down that need refreshing, some do not have at all.

2026 Project: Help kids attend school in Buenaventura, Colombia

LivingKindness has been working with the non-profit, private, Juan Bautista primary school since October 2024. Plagued with poverty and violence, this less visited part of Colombia sees many children go without basic education and forced to work at a young age to help support their families.

We can help by sponsoring one of these children for $200 for the full year (which runs from February to November). Canadian tax receipt in return plus pictures, report cards and full financial report at the year end.
