Causeway Work Centre Appoints Owen Freiheit as Executive Director

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Causeway Work Centre, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Owen Freiheit as Executive Director.

Owen has been with the organization for almost two years, most recently serving as Interim Executive Director. During that time, he has demonstrated strong leadership, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep commitment to Causeway’s mission.

The Board is confident that Owen’s passion for the organization and his vision for the future will serve Causeway well in the years ahead. We look forward to working with him as we guide the organization into its next chapter.

Causeway is also thrilled to share that Chelsea Clendinning will assume the permanent Director of Operations role, overseeing programs, services, and social enterprises. Chelsea took on the interim role 6 months ago, and in that time, has had a tremendous impact. Her leadership, consistency, and innovative ideas have been felt across the organization.

🚀 Youth Speed Networking Night : Build Real Interview Confidence!

Ready to sharpen your interview skills and connect with real employers?

OCCSC, in collaboration with Causeway Work Centre, is excited to host a fast-paced Youth Speed Networking Session designed to help you gain real interview experience!

🔹 How It Works
Each participant will rotate through short, 5-minute sessions with different employers. During each round, you’ll answer 2–3 interview-style questions — just like a real interview!

After completing all rotations, you’ll receive personalized feedback from employers to help you improve and stand out.
