📍 Temporary Programming at 98 Woodridge!

Due to ongoing necessary repairs at our Bayshore Neighbourhood location, we’re temporarily bringing our EarlyON programming to Accora Centre, 98 Woodridge Avenue, Studio A.

🌟 Join us for Pop-Up Playtime this September! 🌟

👶 For families and caregivers with children 0–6 years
🧸 Play, connect and explore with bubbles, blocks, toys, books and more!
📅 Tuesdays: 2–3 p.m. — Afternoon Playgroup
📅 Fridays: 9:45–10:45 a.m. — Morning Playgroup
🚗 Free onsite parking
♿ Studio A is on the second floor and accessible by elevator or stairs.
🧑‍🍼 Strollers must be folded and stored in the main-floor lobby.
💚 Drop-in until capacity is full.

Our team is learning about mindfulness! 🌱

A big thank you to Rita, our MindUP in the Schools facilitator, for leading an in-service with our team and sharing more about the evidence-based mindfulness program we deliver to elementary school students in Grades 1 and 2.

This is us learning about our “Wise Owl”! 🦉 The “Wise Owl” represents the prefrontal cortex — the part of our brain that helps with reasoning, problem-solving, decision-making, and managing our emotions. MindUP helps children learn strategies to strengthen these important skills.

It was a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, share ideas, and have meaningful conversations about how mindfulness and social-emotional learning can support children.
