Food insecurity does not take a summer vacation: the rising cost of food continues to impact our community year-round.

Thanks to the leadership of Khalsa Aid Canada , and in partnership with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) , local Ottawa businesses, and , fresh fruits and vegetables will be delivered to more than 30 organizations across Ottawa on June 6.

This initiative will support food banks, shelters, summer camps, and vital community programs working to ensure people have access to nutritious food.

Belong Ottawa is proud to be among the recipients of this incredible community effort. Fresh food becomes meals, meals create moments of connection, and those connections help build stability for individuals and families we serve every day.

This past Friday at Centre 454, we served 335 barbeque lunches to celebrate sunshine and warmer days. 🍔☀

While the number of meals served is astounding, it is the laughter, music, and sense of togetherness that truly stand out. These gatherings remind us Centre 454 helps create an inclusive community where people feel seen, welcomed, and connected.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers and staff members who make days like this possible! 💛

The Well will be closed on Monday, May 25 so we can complete updates to our facilities. 🔧👕

St Luke's Table and Centre 454 will be open from 8:00am to 3:00pm.

On September 27, the Alliance to End Homelessness Ottawa is hosting the Race to End Homelessness, and Belong Ottawa is proud to be a charity partner.

Choose a 1 km, 5 km, or 10 km run or walk, and help fundraise for a community where everyone belongs.
