The countdown is on!

Just 3 days to go until our first social event of Spring 2026!

NDP members, friends, and family are all invited to celebrate 60 incredible years of our Federal Oshawa Riding Association. What better time to reflect on the past, connect in the present, and dream big about the future?

New Leader, New Chapter, New Democratic Party will be a relaxed and welcoming afternoon featuring:

Guest speakers
Oshawa trivia (with prizes!)
Light refreshments
Plenty of time to reconnect with longtime comrades and meet new faces

All ages are welcome, so bring the whole crew!

If you’re the sentimental or nostalgic type, feel free to bring along photographs, newspaper clippings, NDP memorabilia, or simply your stories to share. We’re hoping to begin an archive of sorts. A big thank you to Andrew Lauer for getting us started with his generous donation of decades’ worth of NDP history!

And truly, there’s no better place to begin a new federal chapter than the McLaughlin Library.

We can’t wait to see you there this Saturday from 2:00–4:30 PM!

Big thanks to everyone who came out to our karaoke social at Club 717 last night.
Great vibes, lots of laughs, and an epic mix of songs, from Bobby Darrin to Chappell Roan.

With warmer weather around the corner, your riding executive wants to keep the momentum going with monthly meetups, but we want to hear from you! Fun fact: Did you know Club 717 is a non-profit organization, and their djs and bar staff are all volunteers?

This past Saturday in Toronto, Durham Region showed up strong at the ONDP Provincial Council Meeting!

It's always energizing when delegates from across Ontario come together to share what's happening in our ridings and talk about how we can better support our neighbours in true New Democrat fashion.

The ideas, conversations, friendships, and commitment to building stronger communities are what keeps us members going!

Now we're all working forward to warmer weather and more opportunities to get out, connect and organize across Durham and beyond!
