🎨 Creativity in Action! 🌞🌱

This week, participants had the opportunity to take part in a hands-on art workshop led by Lori Roberge, where they created beautiful sun catchers and garden signs.

From colourful designs to unique personal touches, everyone had the chance to express their creativity, build confidence, and enjoy time together in a fun and supportive environment.

⭐️Wednesday Spotlight⭐️

When Rose isn't out supporting participants as a job coach, you can often find her in the kitchen helping prepare something delicious for Hot Lunch Wednesdays. On occasion, she even takes the cooking outdoors and fires up the barbecue!

Rose is also one of the many team members who gives her time to support our Saturday breakfast and other fundraising initiatives throughout the year. Her willingness to pitch in wherever needed is just one of the many reasons she is such a valued member of our team.

As a long-term employee, Rose has been part of many participant success stories over the years. Her dedication, experience, and commitment to supporting others have made a lasting impact on the participants.

Megan is a valued member of our Social Committee, helping organize fundraisers, our annual Christmas party, and making sure everything is ready to go for our monthly Saturday breakfast. Her energy and enthusiasm help make these events a success and bring our team and community together.

Megan puts her heart into everything she does, but her greatest impact is in the support she provides to the participants she works with every day. Her dedication, compassion, and commitment help them feel valued, and empowered to reach their goals.

A big thank you to the Fredericton Community Foundation and the Town of Oromocto for supporting our Digital Training Program.

Thanks to their generous grant funding, OTEC was able to purchase two new smart boards to enhance learning and training opportunities for our participants.

⭐️Wednesday Spotlight⭐️

This week we’re highlight ing a key member of our team here at OTEC, Liana!

As our Program Coordinator, Liana does an amazing job bringing new initiatives and resources to the team to help support both staff and participants. Her creativity and dedication are a big part of what keeps programs fresh, engaging, and meaningful.

As one of our group facilitators, Liana creates a fun, hands-on learning environment where participants can build skills, confidence, and independence through interactive experiences. And on Thursday mornings, you can often find her leading participants in line dancing — encouraging movement, coordination, confidence, social connection, and of course, a lot of fun along the way!

We’re lucky to have her leadership, energy, and creativity on the team!
