Now that the final whistle has blown, we’re excited to share the heartwarming fundraising results of the 2026 Pucks for Paws Tournament, proudly presented by Atlantic Emergency Medical Training Solutions! This charitable event brought together New Brunswick Firefighters, while raising much-needed funds for our local SPCA's. We’re thrilled to announce that Pucks for Paws raised an incredible $3,681.69. This will go directly to helping animals in need find loving homes.

A huge thank you to our sponsors! Your unwavering support made this event a tremendous success, and we couldn't have done it without you.

We also want to give a big shout-out to all the teams that participated. Congratulations to Saint John for their well-deserved "Golden Stick" Victory! A special thank you goes out to the members of our Association and the Fredericton Fire Fighters Association for their hard work in making this year's tournament a paws-itively memorable experience!

Here are the Day 1 standings for the Pucks for Paws presented by Atlantic Emergency Medical Training Solutions. The Saint John Firefighters are waging a paw-some battle and are heading into Day 2 with the lead, eager to secure their spot in the finals with a game at 12:45.

All of today’s games are happening at the Lady Beaverbrook Rink – including the thrilling final showdown at 3:45. If you want to witness some tail-wagging, fast-paced Firefighter Hockey from across the province, come on down; it’s bound to be a ball of fun!

And guess what? Admission is absolutely free! We’re also happily accepting donations of pet supplies and food for local SPCAs, so bring a little extra love to share. Hope to see you there.

Get ready for Pucks for Paws 2026, brought to you by Atlantic Emergency Medical Training Solutions! Today’s the day when fast-paced Firefighter Hockey meets furry friends at Willie Oree Place – and trust me, it’ll be a paw-sitively thrilling experience!

Best part? Admission is free! Plus, we’re accepting donations of pet supplies and food to help local SPCA pals. So, bring your doggie bags (of goodies, not actual bags)!

Kicking things off today is a showdown for the ages: our Capital City players are squaring off against the Port City team in a rematch of last year’s nail-biter finale. These teams are more competitive than a cat in a room full of laser pointers, and you won't want to miss a single paw-some moment! See you there!

Mark on your calendars, folks! In just one short week, the PUCKS FOR PAWS Firefighter Hockey Tournament presented by Atlantic Emergency Medical Training Solutions, will hit the ice! This charity event supports our local SPCAs—so you know it’s going to be a howl of a good time!

And here’s the tail-wagging best part: admission is totally free! Yes, you read that right! You can enjoy all the thrilling hockey action without spending a single bone. We're starting things off at Willie Oree Place and wrapping up on the final day at Lady Beaverbrook Rink.
