🚑⚽ Shelburne Soccer Club is proud to share that we have once again obtained an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) from the Dufferin County Paramedic Service for the entire 2026 outdoor season.

This marks our second year participating in this incredible life-saving program, helping us keep our players, families, volunteers, and spectators safer throughout the season.

Did you know YOU can also access an AED FREE of charge for your own private or community events through the Dufferin County AED Loaner Program?

The program allows residents to borrow an AED at no cost for short-term events within Dufferin County, including:
🎵 Concerts
⛳ Golf tournaments
🎉 Festivals
💍 Weddings
⛪ Church gatherings
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family reunions
🥾 Nature walks

We encourage our community to take advantage of this amazing initiative.

🚑Did you know most public access AED’s are located in buildings making them inaccessible after regular business hours?

❤️After the loss of her father earlier this year, Zaryna wants to change that. She is currently raising funds to have a save station installed at Rotary Park in Orangeville

🚑A SaveStation is a 24 hour accessible public access AED. It is temperature controlled, alarms when opened, and has a light so it can be seen no matter the time of day.

This paramedic week we remind each other to take care of yourself, check in on each other and take time when needed. You are never alone 🤍

There are lots of ways you can assist us in a medical emergency! 🏥

•CPR & First aid Training
•Have a list of medications (our vial of life is extra handy for this)
•Have a visible address so we can find you quickly
•Locate the AED at places you frequently visit
•Stay calm and know we are here to help

It’s Paramedic Services Week! 🚑

From May 17 to 23, we celebrate the paramedics who show up every day for our community by responding to 9-1-1 calls, supporting patients close to home, and working alongside hospital teams.
