100 Mile House Fire-Rescue The Fire Service is a diverse and challenging profession that offers many different types of rewards.

To Serve the citizens of and the visitors to the District of 100 Mile House and area by protecting life, property, and the environment through education, awareness, suppression services, medical aid, and rescue services. It is this diversity that inspires men and women to become firefighters. Firefighters are trained to respond and handle many different types of incidents from a dumpster fire to a

full structure fire, motor vehicle incidents to rendering medical aid. Emergencies can happen at any time of the day during any season of weather. Commitment and dedication are required on part of all firefighters.

100 Mile & District Emergency Support Services is hosting an open house where you can learn about evacuations and how they can help you now, to register before an evacuation happens. Service BC will be onsite to help with BC eID. Please stop by for a coffee, water, cookies and information on preparedness. Colouring and puzzles for the kids.

A great Wednesday for 100 Mile House Fire Rescue!

Today, our members were proud to support McHappy Day and help give back to a great cause in our community.

The evening wrapped up with another productive practice night, including structure protection sprinkler training and our 2026 recruits continuing to near the end of their recruit training program. Tonight’s training focused on hose handling, along with mock vehicle and dumpster fire scenarios.

Great work by all members involved, and thank you to everyone who continues to support 100 Mile House Fire Rescue and our community!
