Local RCMP will be taking part in the 100 Mile House pride parade on July 26th along with supporting our 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

100 Mile House RCMP receive multiple reports in any given week about suspected scams and Fraud taking place online and over the telephone. Many of these scammers will present themselves as being from a legitimate business or government agency and some sound convincing. Police would like to remind the public to use caution when providing private information online and over the telephone to anyone that cannot be verified. This includes personal data such as addresses, phone numbers, date of birth, and financial information. Facebook Marketplace scams are also prevalent in our area. It is recommended that no financial payment be sent to anyone without first viewing the item and meeting the seller. Also, many ads listed and are too good to be true as it relates to pricing where the fraudster attempts to convince the buyer into an online payment to hold the item. Shortly after the ad disappears. The seller profiles are often cloned from real accounts to try and make it look legitimate.

The charity hockey game between the local fire rescue and RCMP will also raise funds for the food bank via raffles for various gift baskets from organizations and businesses in the community. To make this event even more successful, we are seeking gift basket donations to be used as raffle prizes. If your business or organization would like to contribute a gift basket sponsored by your organization please contact Fire Rescue/RCMP or drop completed baskets at the Fire hall or RCMP detachment. Generous contributions would help us engage the community and support this great cause. We would be grateful for any support you can provide.

Join us for an exciting and fun evening as local RCMP and Fire Rescue go head-to-head in an entertaining charity hockey game, bringing the community together for a great cause. This friendly rivalry promises action, camaraderie, and a chance to see our first responders showcase their skills on the ice. All proceeds from the game will support the local food bank, helping to make a positive impact in our community—don’t miss it!

December 14th the Wranglers will have an off day but that doesn't mean you can't catch hockey action at 7:00 p.m. when the 100 Mile RCMP team and the 100 Mile House Fire Rescue team face off in the guns and hoses charity hockey game.

Admission for the game is a non perishable food item or small cash donation to benefit the local food bank, especially as we head into the holiday season.

The evening will be packed with fun events and raffles for the whole family.

Let's show community pride and fill the seats for charity!
