On Election Day October 17th, 2026 from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. at Council Chambers located at 385 Birch Avenue, 100 Mile House.

On Advanced Voting Day October 7th, 2026 from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. at Council Chambers located at 385 Birch Avenue, 100 Mile House.

By Mail: Request a mail ballot package at the District office during normal office hours and return it either in person or via mail no later than 8 p.m. on General Voting Day, October 17.

Join us this September 15th from 6 to 8 PM at the Interlakes Community Centre for an informative session focused on aquatic invasive plants, algal blooms, and water quality concerns.

UPDATE: The additional water restrictions have been rescinded, we are now going back to normal water restrictions. We will continue to monitor consumption and levels. Please be aware restrictions could change again.

2026 WATER RESTRICTION NOTICE

The District of 100 Mile House is putting the following water restrictions into effect from May 1ST, 2026 to September 30th, 2026.

EVEN numbered properties can only water or sprinkle on
EVEN numbered days of the month from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM only.

ODD numbered properties can only water or sprinkle on
ODD numbered days of the month from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM only.

For properties with multiple units, use your unit number to determine if your address is odd or even.

The fine for watering outside of permitted days and times is $50.00 and each occurrence is deemed to be a separate offence.

There is still time to apply!

2027 SOUTH CARIBOO JOINT GRANTS FOR ASSISTANCE APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE NOW

On an annual basis, the Electoral Areas G, H, and L of the Cariboo Regional District (CRD) and the District of 100 Mile House provide a joint Grants for Assistance Program to local community organizations for projects, activities and events that strengthen and enhance the wellbeing of the community and support the priorities and goals of the CRD and the District of 100 Mile House.

To qualify for a Grant for Assistance, the applicant must:
• Be a local community group;
• Indicate the amount of financial assistance needed;
• Describe how the project/activity/event benefits the community;
• Provide organization’s financial information;
• Include project or event budget, including all funding sources & expenditures

* Applications may be submitted to either the CRD or District of 100 Mile House.

1. Submit your application to the CRD using the online application form. If you have questions about the program or your application contact Kathie @ [email protected].

2. Submit your application to the District of 100 Mile House via email at [email protected]

THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS OCTOBER 1st, 2026

This summer has clearly demonstrated the impact of wildfires on communities and individuals, and we recognize all those who have been affected.
We would like to continue to educate homeowners in the District of 100 Mile House on actions they can take on their properties to mitigate the risks from wildfire by encouraging folks to sign up for free home inspections from our FireSmart Coordinator.
These assessments will provide a personalized, private report on specific actions that can be completed to reduce the potential for damage from wildfires.
