Linda Larson, MLA, Boundary-Similkameen Linda Larson represents a positive vision forward for local families offering qualified leadership, proven results in her role as MLA.

Linda Larson was born in Comox, British Columbia. She moved to Oliver in 1989 with her husband Larry. Linda owned three businesses in Oliver between 1989 and 2002: Eastside Grocery, Stedmans VS and Ruffled Edges. Her experience as a local business owner, provided her with the expertise to serve on the BC Small Business Roundtable between 2005 and 2011. Linda was previously the chair of the Provinc

ial Board at Community Futures, representing the South Okanagan, and has sat on the boards of the Desert Sun Counselling & Resource Centre (2004-2008), and JABC (2006-2011). She has also volunteered with provincial, regional and local organizations such as the Sunnybank Ladies Auxiliary and W.O.W. Linda has a breadth of experience working in local politics, and Linda sat on the Oliver Council and served as the Mayor from 1997-2005. Linda is passionate about the progress of present and future generations. As such, she has taken multiple parliamentary secretary roles, including for the Ministry of Social Development and Social Innovation, and the Ministry of Health. She has worked tirelessly to support the sustainability of rural communities as the Parliamentary Secretary for Rural Education, and is now seeking re-election. Linda and her husband Larry have three daughters and four grandchildren.
