A huge thank you Calgary Food & Drug Executives - CFDE for their generous $1,000 donation from the 50/50 Draw and Putting Green Contest at their annual Golf Tournament yesterday! ⛳

We are so grateful to this wonderful group for inviting us to be part of the tournament each year and for continuing to support the Okotoks Food Bank.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the event a success and for helping us support local families in our community!

Start looking for the yellow No Frills bags on your door step this week and next for the upcoming Food Drive on Sept 19th!

The Okotoks Food Bank Association is gearing up for the annual Community Food Drive on Sept. 19.

Donations will support the food hamper program.

If you love music or want to support the Okotoks Foodbank you're in for a treat! MzBehavin, The Rum Runners and Friends of Rum Runners are presenting their 4th Annual concert in support of the Okotoks Foodbank. It's Sat, October 3rd, 7:00pm at Okotoks United Church. Their concerts are full of fun, laughs and great music. They have all new songs this year including hits from The Greatest Showman, Green Day, as well as some of the classic oldies.

Donations of food or monetary (cash, debit, credit card) would be greatly appreciated.

🫶 Volunteer Spotlight: Bev

Sadly, Bev will be moving away this fall. We are so grateful for the 11 incredible years she has spent volunteering with the Okotoks Food Bank!

Why she chose to volunteer:

“I was new to Okotoks and needed to meet people and get involved in something worthwhile. There are too many memories to pick a favorite. The team members have become good friends who I look forward to seeing every Thursday when we volunteer together. There is so much need in the community, and I feel blessed to do a small part in helping.”

Thank you for being such an important part of our Food Bank family, Bev. We wish you all the very best in your next chapter!
