Mock scenario for training this evening. Members were split in to two teams to determine how best they would respond to a given scenario.

Both teams had very similar methods and tactics discussed in how they would best tackle the scenario. It’s always great to see everyone bring their individual knowledge to the table in order to be a successful team.

Looking like it’s going to be a nice, sunny afternoon for Louis Riel Day. Make sure to stop by the rink tomorrow from 1-3 for a skate, hot chocolate/coffee and roasting of some hot dogs and marshmellows. There’s even word of some “Big Names” bringing out their skates for the afternoon. Come down to see who they are and skate with them

Santa has confirmed that the Public Works and MB Highways have done an exceptional job of clearing the snow, and that his arrival will continue as planned in Ochre tonight. His ORFD es**rt will be leaving the Firehall at 530 this evening

Thursday, December 18th is when ORFD will be es**rting Santa around town. Starting at 6, Santa and ORFD members will be going around to visit and collect any food donations for the local Ste Rose Food Bank. Santa will make his way to Dauphin Beach following the town of Ochre
